Update: A few of us have started to meet up in the Daily Chat Thread in the Coffee Bar now but it would be even better if more of you joined in.
Around half of our members have joined the Coffee Bar Group so far and we need you all to join if poss so we can get some lively discussions going.
Don't be shy now....if you have nothing to say, a simple 'hi how are you?' is perfectly acceptable and will get you started in chatting to to other members and meeting people.
So if you do nothing else next time you call in...please join the Coffee Bar group and come and say hi!

It has been noticed that although friends old and new are steadily joining us, many of you are 'wandering around aimlessly' as someone put it earlier, looking for somewhere to settle down for a chat...as we used to do on Digital Spy and the ZaC forum.
Well, let's use the Coffee Bar for this purpose shall we?
If ALL MEMBERS join the Coffee Bar group, we can pop in there every time we arrive onsite and say hello, talk about our day and so on. We can talk about anything at all in there, but it basically gives us somewhere to meet up and chat.
People are happily chatting to each other using their comment walls on their own pages but this doesnt include the rest of us, so we need to have these sort of conversations somewhere we can all join in.
I have found out loads of little snippets of info about members by going round all the pages, but it is not easy to join in these discussions as they are designed to be one to one chats.
However if we use the comment wall and the forum in the coffee bar as well, everyone can contribute to the discussions and feel as if they are part of a community rather than just somewhere with a nice myspace type page.
Even if we just announce our presence in the network and/or say when we are leaving, it gives others the chance to reply and start chatting....about the weather, traffic, your day, night out, it doesnt really matter how a conversation is begun because others will come along and continue it fairly shortly no doubt.
Jayne, MJ and I will now start going in regularly and starting the daily threads.....so please if you havent joined the coffee bar group yet, do it now and drop in every time you come in to the network.
I'll have a large cappuccino and a big chocolate donut please....the diet can begin tomorrow!!

The amount of work and time you have spent on this website would put a normal person in bed for at least a week lol......and yes i do take in what you try to help us with.....ive done my first smiley ...deep bow thank you...im a slow learner.

Hay even if you dont bookmark the page...........the smell of the coffee and a mention of a donut makes my belly rumble...i'll follow my nose and meet you here....
I work till 2.30 so can chat and feed my face in the afternoon lol.....here comes my first smiley...fingers crossed xx

Did you know that you can bookmark the Coffee Bar separately from the rest of the network? Just go to the coffee bar page and add to favorites (or bookmarks) depending on your browser.
Then you can go straight there if you just want a quick natter and dont have time to crawl through the rest of the network maize.
