In the beginning

Well, there has to be one, doesnt it and this is mine. Im Saphire, Saphy to friends. Im 37 going on 38. I live in the south of England with my partner of 7 years. Gosh I cant belive its been that long already. We live on a houseboat, and befor you ask, yes we have all mod coms, lol. I always get asked that, and wether its cold. No its not. We have electrics and a fire, so were quite comfy. Its just like living in a flat. But with better view probably.

Ive known Julia since about 2001. We met through Chrystal (her daughter). Julia ran a graphics group on msn back then, and I became one of her moderators. As years passed by we more or less lost touch, but Ive always kept JWG as my homepage, so when I saw she had set up this place I had to come and join in. I like this blogging option. I have been looking for somewhere to have a blog. Now that I dont have a site of my own anymore. Yeah, I gave up my domain since I didnt know what to do with anymore. I was fed up with the whole graphic community at the time. So many petty bickering people I couldnt stand it anymore. Took a step back and got into other things. Like quizzing again. Thats how it all started, lol. Gone round in a circle. Im an active member of Quizzicals on Phreik chat. Great group of people. We have a live quiz around 9ish most nights. So if anyone wants to join in their more than welcome :o)

Anyway, as you can see I love rambling on, good thing about typing is that you dont have to listen to the drone of your own voice, lol. Well, better get back to packing.

Gosh Saphy..you are the first member to post a blog - apart from my own ramblings of course! You have now set the tone and hopefully all the other members will be encouraged to put their own thoughts into print, as it were.
